Tootle and Pathao Sharing Ride service started with health safety standards

Ride sharing services Tuttle and Pathao, which are popular among the general public in Kathmandu, have come into operation from today. Tuttle and Pathao have also started their service after the ban imposed in Kathmandu Valley for three weeks was lifted from today.

Tuttle and Pathao have been operating private vehicles on the basis of coercion since the local administration allowed them to run their businesses in order to keep the economic activities going.

Pathao said that both the motorcycles and taxis have been operating on the basis of invalid number plates. According to the company, protective suits, sanitizers, masks and globes are mandatory for riders in accordance with government health standards.

Passengers have stated that they will sanitize the seats after boarding the passengers and passengers without seals and masks will not be allowed to board the taxi. Similarly, Tuttle has also started the service by fulfilling all the health safety criteria.
