Supreme Court orders government to make corona test free

The Supreme Court has ordered not to give permission in the review petition submitted by the Ministry of Health and Population on November 30. With this court order, the government will have to implement the previous decision.

Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population, Laxman Aryal, had submitted a review petition to the Supreme Court through the Attorney General’s Office.

In the writ filed by advocates Lokendra Oli and Keshar Bahadur KC, the two judges of the Supreme Court, Dr. A joint bench of Ananda Mohan Bhattarai and Tanka Bahadur Moktan had ordered the fee to be paid free of cost on September 30.

“The court seems to have issued the order ignoring the role it has played in controlling and treating the Kovid-19 outbreak since its inception,” the petition said.
